Founder and president of Doug
Eadie & Company, a Tampa
Bay
firm specializing in public and nonprofit governance, Doug Eadie
has over the past 25 years helped over 500 public and nonprofit
organizations, including many school districts, to build truly high-impact
board-CEO partnerships that make a real difference.
Doug is also a thought leader in the field of governance, having
written 17 books and over 100 articles on board and CEO leadership.
Doug writes a regular column for AASA’s
School Administrator magazine
and NSBA’s
American School magazine, and
he has presented programs at many national and state K-12 conferences.
Before founding Doug Eadie & Company, Doug taught ancient history in
Ethiopia
for three years as a Peace Corps Volunteer and served in a number of public
and nonprofit executive positions, including community college vice
president. He is a Phi Beta
Kappa graduate of the University of Illinois
at Urbana
and was awarded the Master of Science in Management degree from the
Weatherhead School of Case Western Reserve University.
